I’ve been testing out Cambridge Audio’s CXN (V2) network streamer for several months and today my one glaring complaint about the CXN (V2) just got resolved: Native Roon support.
Roon support is a free software update for both the CXV (V2) and Cambridge Audio’s flagship Edge NQ. Once updated the CXV (V2) and Edge NQ will automatically discover a Roon server you’ll be able to control volume of the Cambridge devices via Roon’s user interface.
With native support for AirPlay, Chromecast, and now Roon’s RAAT protocol, Cambridge Audio’s network streamers offer any audiophile the utmost flexibility to fit into any hi-fi and hi-res music ecosystem.
