While the soundtrack for Star Wars: The Force Awakens was previously announced and subsequently released on CD and as a digital download, there was no mention about a vinyl edition. Now, Disney has announced an LP version of the soundtrack.
The 2-record set is now available for pre-order and is scheduled to ship on or before June 15, 2016.
Those interested in ordering the vinyl edition may do so from the Disney Music Emporium and from standard retailers like Amazon.
Disney also says that those who purchase the vinyl edition will receive a code to redeem a digital download of the edition. You won’t need to wait until the spring to enjoy John Williams’ latest score.
