OK, Marantz just announced a $6,000 Blu-ray player. Ok, I can understand the difference in quality I’d see between a Pioneer and LG or the Oppo and a Sony (though I haven’t sampled any of them critically LOL). But 6k? Is it the anamorphic features? I just don’t get why such a massive pricetag. What would someone be paying for?
Well, while someone is putting out this petty cash, I’d much rather look at the review of sub-$300 Blu-Ray players on Sound and Vision’s web site
