I have been wanting to finish off my 7.1 system by reconnecting my rear back surrounds. I had done so with speaker wire but it was not very clean and I was running wires along the wall. The Cat5e solution with Leviton jacks sounded good.
Well, it’s working! I’m going to chronicle this too. But, as of now, I have full 7.1 and I have also connected a second zone as well in another room. This is all thanks to Cat5e.
