OK, I got the Xantech, 1/8 triggers from Radio Shack, the diodes, and the power supply. Right now, I did the following:
- Cut the triggers in half and followed the diagram to strip them and connect to the Xantech
- Cut the power supply and connected to the screws on the Xantech
The problem I’m having is that I don’t know which is + and which is – on the Radio Shack triggers.
The way the Radio Shack triggers are constructed is there is a copper run in the middle surrounded by plastic insulation and then that is enclosed by what I assume is the ground, which is arranged in a mesh-type weave around the plastic insulation. The plastic insulation is a bit of a pain as I can’t really bend this with ease.
